We wanted to make sure that the opportunity we were given through Britain's Got Talent could create something lasting.
At the Harvest Festival hosted at The Farmers Dog pub, in September, The Hawkstone Farmers Choir and Hawkstone donated a total of £100,000 to five farming charities
This first £50,000 donation is an important moment for us, but so is building the choir into an organisation that can hopefully continue to support farming charities in the future.
The five charities we supported were
- MIND
- RABI
- Farming Community Network
- Shout
- DPJ Foundation
Members of the choir have also undertaken the RABI Mental First Aid course where we were kindly hosted by the Royal Agricultural University in Cirencester
